Bristol Blooms
On a cold dreary day, I can just imagine downtown Bristol lined with hanging flower baskets. I painted these last summer and this year we expect many more. There is a great group of people making plans to hang baskets on 126 lanterns in 2014. They are always accepting donations at Bristol Blooms, PO Box 1083, Bristol 02809.

Fog Rolling In....
Just finished this 20 x 24 acrylic. I love the ocean at any time but it is so magical when the fog starts to roll in

Northern Italy Watercolor
When I started painting again, after a long hiatus, I had the good fortune to have Melrose artist Tom Sutherland as my teacher. Tom gave me the confidence I needed to pick up my brushes, relax and enjoy the experience. His critiques were always encouraging and he was a teacher who willingly and generously shared his talent. I am posting one of my first watercolor paintings from Tom's class in memory of a great artist, gentleman, and friend who passed away much too young after a courageous battle with cancer .
